Flatpay’s €145 million Series D
17 November 2025
Denmark-based Flatpay, a payments fintech that offers flat-rate card terminals and POS for SMBs, raised €145 million in a round funded by AVP and Smash Capital, as well as Dawn Capital, which had led the startup’s $47 million Series B.
The round valued the business at €1.5 billion (15x ARR as of October 2025), with the company’s ambition to grow to €400 million - €500 million ARR by the end of 2026. Traction has been strong so far with the company claiming c.60,000 customers, up from 7,000 in April 2024. And as the company’s product focuses on small merchants, a segment that accounts for 99% of European businesses, this leaves significant room for further growth.
HoloSolis’ €220M financing
18 November 2025
France-based HoloSolis, the manufacturer of low carbon PV cells and modules, has raised over €220 million in public and private funding to build one of Europe’s largest solar panel gigafactories in Sarreguemines-Hambach. The project is due to become fully operational by 2030 and aims to produce enough power for 1 million homes. It is also expected to generate 2,000 direct jobs and reach production capacity of 5 gigawatts per year. Investors involved in the fundraising round included Calés Technologie, InnoEnergy, TSE, Groupe IDEC, Armor Group, and Heraeus.
Vyntelligence’s $30M Series B
19 November 2025
UK-based Vyntelligence, the provider of a short video AI platform for in-field work raised $30 million in Series B funding from Blume Equity and Morgan Stanley’s 1GT. The company’s AI-enabled video platform helps engineers simplify and speed up in-field processes and save hours of lost time in manual reporting and data-gathering. The new investment will support the business’ expansion, particularly into the US, building on their momentum with enterprise customers in the UK and Europe.
Mate’s $15.5M Seed
17 November 2025
Israel-based Mate, a cybersecurity startup that provides a new approach to Security Operations Centres (SOCs) that shifts them from reactive alert management to continuously learning defence systems emerged from stealth with $15.5 million in seed funding from Team8 and Insight Partners. The new funding will support the company’s expansion of its engineering team, extended design-partner collaborations, and preparation for broader enterprise rollout.
Albatross’ $12.5M funding round
18 November 2025
Switzerland-based Albatross, the AI-driven real-time online product and content discovery platform, announced $12.5 million in new funding to scale its adaptive recommendation engine. The funding round was led by MMC Ventures with participation from Redalpine, Daphni, and strategic angels, bringing the company’s total funding to $16 million. This followed a $3.5 million foundation round in September 2024 led by Redalpine.
PolyModels Hub’s £7M Series A
20 November 2025
UK-based PolyModels Hub, a biotech company developing AI-driven biopharma process development software, announced a £7 million Series A led by Molten Ventures with participation from Marathon Venture Capital. The company’s flagship platform, ModelFlow, integrates data, AI models, and workflows to help scientists and engineers design, simulate, and optimize pharmaceutical processes faster and more reliably.

InvenireX’s £2M Seed round
18 November 2025
Newcastle, UK-based biotech InvenireX raised £2 million in Seed funding in a round led by DSW Ventures, with participation from XTX Ventures, Cambridge Technology Capital, and angel investors with biotech experience, and includes grant funding from Innovate UK. The funding will be used to accelerate commercialisation of its DNA nanotechnology platform that can detect disease at the earliest biological stages.
